New Designer: ZoeTwitt

Born into the fashion world, New York based designer Zoe Twitt recently launched her own self-titled collection, and it is so wearable. "I wanted to create a melange of Gothic, classic and feminine," says Twitt, 27. "And there are undertones of the occult." She uses rock crystal embellishments throughout the streetwise collection - tracing shoulder cutouts for instance, on a black tunic top.

"A man this for me is the multifunctional aspect," she adds. "You can wear the garments zipped up or use the cutouts as a second armhole." Check out some of my favorite pieces below:

House of Herion

I had the privilege of viewing Herion's spring/summer collection the other day, and it is fabulous! For those of you who don't know, Herion has been around for over a century and uses some of the most amazing prints and colors. The current collection draws insight form the "playful yet graphic allure of the 70's, highlighting vintage inspired signature prints on exquisite silk, cotton voile, and soft linens." Check out some of my favorite pieces below:

In their iconic cardinal print, 'The Cardinal Blouse' ($325.00) is light-weight and flirty - great for spring. Or perfect for day and night, their 'American Dream Dress' ($395.00), has stunning draped detailing in the front. And last, but certainly not least, is this cool linen 'Raindrop Romper' ($375.00).

And right now, all their swimsuits are for sale online! Check it out at www.herion1886.com.

New Designer: Cally Rieman

Kal Rieman is an amazing new line, that was recently launched by designer Cally Reiman. And given her men's wear background, it is no surprise Rieman works a masculine vibe - crisp shirting, vests and loads of tailoring.

"I am facinated with the suit," she says, noting she works with a men's wear tailor for her blazers "so they're made like a men's jacket with canvas construction, horse hair..." Judging by the looks from her Spring/Summer collection, I can't wait to see her line in stores!
