The Zac Posen line for Target is set to hit stores April 25th (to May 30th) and I have to say it looks pretty amazing. Prices range from $16.99 - $199.99... check out some of my favorites below:

One-of-a-Kind Summer Scarves

I love these Brightly Twisted 'Tie Dye Scarves' ($98.00) that are currently available at Intermix. Each scarf, created by designers Greg Stemas and Tammy Bourque, is made entirely by hand, making it a one-of-a-kind piece. Also, oversized scarves can be the perfect substitute for a necklace, and they make such a statement.

alldressedup F/W 2010 Collection

This week I have come across some amazing designers and collections including my favorite so far, alldressedup. The international fashion label embodies the free-spirited and spontaneous charm in its collection, drawing inspiration from the various life experiences of the confident, stylish and urban-minded women.

The Fall/Winter 2010 collection (seen below) is inspired by the Maori tribal tattoo with its graphic curvilinear spirals, inspired sensuous, and bold contour patterns and patchwork. Two key innovations interpreted by these motifs are pin tucks that contour fabric to the body and add ridged textures, and threadwork incorporating metallic sequins applied onto areas like necklines and sleeves.

The chic brand features a complete line of fashion and accessories, and is available in select boutiques and online at Net-a-Porter.com. It is the prefect casual cool addition to your wardrobe.

OPI's 'Jade is the New Black'

Today at the nail salon, decided to check out OPI's new Spring 2010 'Hong Kong' Collection... and 'Jade is the New Black' is one of my favorite new spring colors. Totally different then any color I normally get, it is surprisingly muted for a green nail polish (in a good way), but has a fun, fashionable vibe to it.

It is a New York based company recently developed by Hunter Lingle and Jennifer Dixon that is focused on silk fabrications, unique feminine detailing and abstract prints - "it's a brand where sensible simplicity meets metropolitan style."

Check out some of my favorite pieces from their Spring/Summer 2010 collection:

Porcelain Debuts F/W 2010 Collection

Porcelain, designed by sisters Olivia Ma Corwin and Kai Ma Wilson, recently debuted their Fall/Winter 2010 collection - and it looks pretty amazing! Their collection is precisely structured to create the most fascinating silhouettes - it makes any women feel sexy.

Their Fall/Winter line in particular finds its inspiration in Post World War II Berlin with cinematic reference of Inglorious Basterds, as evidenced by distinct aristocratic military accents reinterpreted for the modern young women with femininity and ease.

Porcelain is based out of New York City, and will be offered in most high-end boutiques throughout the country. Pieces are available in stores this July, and prices ranged between $89 and $595 with most between $100 and $300 - totally reasonable!

Shopista Look of the Week: Flat Sandal Booties

I wasn't sure how I felt about these flat sandal booties at first, but I have to say, they are totally growing on me.... and there are so many different styles. Sale Alert: Club Monaco

I just walked into Club Monaco (5th Ave and 21st St), and they have these amazing cashmere cardigans on sale for $29! They come in over 8 colors, and are a great wardrobe staple - I bought two. There are still a fair amount of sizes available in each color, but I am sure they will sell out fast.

In the News: Esprit Launches Flagship on 34th Street

Tomorrow, Esprit is launching its largest U.S. flagship at 21-25 West 34th Street, on one of the city's busiest shopping corridors.

The three-level store features new interior design and will carry the casual and collection lines for men and women, the trendy and playful edc and de.corp, a modern, urban label bowing in the U.S. for the first time, WWD reports.

The store environment is different from other Esprit units - the flagship aims to convey an air of authenticity. There is panelling made from repurposed wood, and the signature red door has been replaced by a dark gray entry. The flagship was designed to be more sophisticated that the last store incarnations.

The merchandise includes a gray leather jacket ($349.50); a blue silk dress with twist detail ($129.50), and a leather handbag with braided strap ($249.00), from collection. There is edc's acid-washed grommet leggings ($69.50), and de.corp's fashion anorak ($139.50).

Shopista Steal: Golde Sweater Dress

I saw this Golde 'Cashmere Button Shoulder Sweater Dress' ($229.00 down from $385.00) at Intermix, that perfectly embodies this seasons nautical theme, that I have been seeing ALL over New York - and it's such a steal! This navy and cream sweater dress has three crest buttons at the shoulder and ribbing at the sleeves and hem.

Kenneth Cole Studded Dress

I was shopping yesterday, and bought this amazing Kenneth Cole 'Crew Neck Studded Dress' ($149.00) in a muted purple. It is a light-weight silk, making it so comfortable and flattering - you can wear it belted or not depending on what look you are going for (it has a slim cut). Also, it is hard to see from the image below, but it has fabulous stud detailing along the neckline, pockets and cuffs.

Shopista Look for the Week: The Shirt Dress

Shirt dresses are the perfect addition to your wardrobe this spring, and are not only stylish but super comfortable and versatile - you can wear it as is, over leggings, open with jeans and a plain tee etc... Vanessa Hudgens looks great below in a belted shirt dress, and heels. Check out more of my favorites below:
My favorite that I saw this weekend, was this James Perse 'Drawstring Shirt Dress' ($225.00) that features pleated chest pockets, cuffed sleeves, and a drawstring waist. Or for something a little different, Rag & Bone has a 'Tux Shirt Dress' ($195.00) with a contrast pintuck bib.

I love linen in the summer, and this Vince linen collarless shirt dress with chocolate brown leather wrap-around belt ($295.00) is easy, chic, and offers a hint of this season's modern military trend. Or for a hippy-chic look, belt this OAK 'tie dye shirt dress' ($189.00) for an amazing look.

In the News: Fight Against Fakes

This past weekend, Federal officials said they had broken up a multi-million-dollar counterfeit ring with ties in Baltimore, New York, London, Malaysia and China, WWD reports. The U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement charged nine defendants with smuggling more than 630,000 counterfeit Gucci, Coach, Cartier and Nike items such as shoes, handbags and watches worth an estimated $33 million into the U.S. through the Port of Baltimore.

"Criminal organizations that smuggle and sell counterfeit goods in the U.S. endanger our economy and rob legitimate industries of their business," said John Morton, assistant secretary with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

For those of you that don't know the counterfeit market is a huge (unregulated) industry, and is known to be linked to money laundering, drug cartels, paramilitary involvement, criminal gang associations, cild labour, as well as safety risks. The Authentics Foundation carries out intensive work raising awareness across the world about these counterfeiting issues.
