Cargo jackets are everywhere this spring! They are the perfect, casual everyday jacket that you can wear over everything - and pretty much every spring line has one. Balmain was just one of many designers this year who drew inspiration from men in uniform. Check out some of my favorites below:
Inspired by vintage military garments, this J. Crew 'Boyfriend fatigue jacket' ($148.00) has a rugged, worn-in appeal. Gap also has some great military inspired items, including this 'Military anorak' ($79.50) that gives off the hip tomboy look with a fit that is still flattering.
Ot for lighter-weight versions, I love this Free People 'Platoon Jacket' ($108.00) with drawstring ties as the waist and bottom hem. Similarly, this Joie 'Raina Cargo Jacket' ($298.00) is perfect for layering, and is the perfect transition piece for spring.
