I have been posting a lot about denim this past week, but it is making a huge comeback this Spring. Expect not only to see jeans and tops, but handbags and shoes either made of denim or a color of blue reminiscent of denim, blending elegance with a downtown cool vibe.
I absolutely adore Botkier handbags, and this "Trigger Moto Convertible Bag" in washed denim ($295.00) is so cool. I love the gunmetal hardware and tassel details. Similarly, Juicy Couture makes a denim leather "Sophie Padlock" medium hobo ($210.00) available 0n Bluefly.com.
Lanvin has a couple denim bags in its collection this season including this chic "Denim Amalia Shoulderbag" ($1,695). Alexander Wang's "Slouchy Leather Shoulder Bag" exclusive to Net-A-Porter.com ($780.00) is also a great option with contrasting black leather and blue suede.
In terms of shoes, I was surprised how many denim flats, pumps, boots and sneakers I found. 7 For All Mankind makes a fun "Clover Flat" ($235.00) with cut out sides and crystals that decorate the front of the shoes. Or for a fun update, Dolce & Gabbana makes a fun leopard print denim pump ($595.00) perched atop a skinny, high-gloss heel.
