Shopista Look of the Week: Party Dresses!!

Who doesn't love getting dressed up. I put together an amazing selection of dresses that are flattering for every figure.

STRAPLESS: Maria Bianca's "Nero Strapless Dress with Floral Cut-Out Skirt" ($366.00) takes the combo dress to a new elegant level. And Elizabeth and James' "Silk Foliage Dress" is the perfect evening look, with edge.

SEQUINS: Aqua has some amazing affordable pieces, including this disco classic, and perfect for New Years "Short Draped Sequin Disco" dress ($198.00). Similarly, I love Alice + Olivia's glamourous sequined dress ($495.00) with a key-hole cutout in the back.

LONG SLEEVED: Long-sleeved dresses are great for showing off your legs (without showing too much skin). This Candela "Sequined Cuff & Hem Dress" ($405.00) is simply radiant, and I love the winter ivory color. Tibi is one of my favorite designers, and this long sleeved dress is fabulous - pair it with tights and booties for an unforgettable look.

ONE SHOULDER: Bailey 44 makes an incredible one-shoulder asymmetrical banded dress ($398.00). Jill Stuart's short glitter one shoulder tulle dress ($198.00) is also so glam, and I love the chiffon overlay and full swaying skirt. This ABS by Allen Schwartz "Side Draped Silk Ombre Dress" ($360.00) is equally as fabulous with its grecian inspiration - flattering on every figure.

Add Some Sparkle...

Sequin scarves add style to any outfit. I have been seeing them in so many store windows recently (at every price range), and truthfully every outfit can use a touch of sparkle.

I have been so impressed with what I have been seeing at Topshop, and this "Trophy Sequin Scarf" ($60.00) is so fabulous. Similarly, Coach has an amazing sequin skinny scarf ($298.00).

Alice + Olivia has an incredible sequin/fringed crocheted scarf ($207.90 on sale). Juicy Couture also makes a great sequin scarf that can be worn casually and dressed up.

This Free People "Sequin Snap Wrap" is gorgeous, and can be worn several different ways... And I love this sequin scarf from H&M (only $12.95), I wear it with so many outfits.

Shopista on a Budget: All for Under $165!

This outfit is so chic, and perfect for any night out - and it's all under $165!

The Armani Exchange banded skirt ($68.00) is an absolute steal - I love contrast banded fabric at the top. Tuck in this H&M top ($34.50)... and complete the outfit with black tights, this amazing pair of Mossimo "Kadisha" lace-up booties ($29.99) from Target, and this La Regale "21006" clutch ($32.00) available on Endless.

Shopista Look for Less: Disco Fever

I found the most amazing pair of Pierre Hardy "pailette" booties, and Le Silla ($4,995) peep-toe booties that are a total tribute to Studio-54. Below are some more sparkly affordable alternatives so you too can channel your inner disco.

Steve Madden makes your basic "Trinitis" sequin pump ($79.95 on sale) that can be worn with almost everything. Similarly are these cool, sky-high REPORT Signature "King" Pumps ($149.95).

I saw these mirrored Pour La Victoria embellished strappy sandals ($350.00) in Elle, and they are amazing - talk about show stopping.

Sam Edelman makes a wow "York" platform pump ($189.00) with a stud and rhinestone embellished platform and a metallic mirror decorating the inside of the heel. Kate Spade also makes a "Carly" sequin slingback pump ($375.00) that is topped with a glamorous oversized, sculpted bow.

The Perfect Clutch Alternative

I have been seeing more of these small crossbody, drawstring bags around, and I think they are an amazing alternative to the traditional clutch. Perfect for dressing up, they come in a variety of shapes and styles, and perfectly fit your essential items (lipstick, wallet, phone, keys). I picked out a couple below that are great options, and will definitely make a statement.

My favorite is this Olivia Harris "Baby Ball Studded Lambskin" crossbody bag ($295.00) with nailhead studs scattered across the lux lambskin exterior - so chic. For a different look, this BOYY "Lucien" leather crossbody bag ($315.00) adds a little bit of edge to your look with the tassel chains and long chain-link strap.

Coach makes a fabulous "amanda" satin drawstring bag ($198.00) that has a fun tassel detail closure. Prada also makes a "Velluto" velvet pouch ($395.00) with an elastic topline. It comes in red, black and senape.

Jeffery Campbell Boots

I saw Kate Hudson wearing these the other day, and couldn't stop staring. These Jeffery Campbell "Lubbock Suede Over the Knee Boots" ($215.00) are so fabulous, not to mention reasonably priced. I love the two buckled straps at the side and the lace-up closure at the back. And they come in an amazing dark green color that I wouldn't normally buy, but totally add a pop to any ensemble (they also come in black) - perfect to wear with distressed jeans and a tee. Shopista Look of the Week: Wrist Bling

Oversized men's watches on women are so hot - I love the look of a big face. They are best worn not completely fitted on the wrist, more resembling a large bangle bracelet. I found some great options bellow that you are for sure to love!

MICHAEL Michael Kors "Round Whit Chronograph' watch ($195.00) is so sexy. I love the white and gold contrast, and the watch has some weight to it. Similarly, this D&G "Time Oversize Prime Time" watch ($295.00) has such a large face, with a pave stone bezel and dial.

This Burberry "Silver Chronograph" watch ($475.00) is amazing, and I love the classic stainless steel on a black leather strap. Also, this Bulova "Brown Leather-Strap" watch ($131.00) is so sleek and simple.

For more bling, the Citizen Men's "Two-Tone Stainless Steel Bracelet" watch ($393.75 on sale) is so hot and sophisticated - it also comes in a darker face. This Seiko Men's "Stainless Steel Bracelet" watch ($281.25 on sale) has such a smooth shape, and the gold tone accents are such a nice touch
